Day Two: 2/12/2008 (Tuesday)

8.00-8.30 Recap-Quiz. We are being asked what we learn from yesterday lesson.

8.30-9.30 Self Realization by Mr. A Rahman Hussien (BAKIP). He talks about the god, the universe, the astronomy and so on.

9.30-9.45 Tea Break

9.45-10.30 continue Self Realization by Mr. A Rahman Hussien

10.45-1.0 HSE Behavioral by MR. Rostam Nikmat (KAPENAS). He talks about the safety, environment, the advice and so on. He is the president of the Petronas staff Union. He talked about the activity that are being organized by Petronas Staff like blood donation campaign, motorcycle safety, reshape my body which cost RM40000 to Petronas Staff who are fat. He also talk about Do’s and Don’ts at the Petronas, the benefit that we get by joining Petronas and so on. He is a very nice person.

1.00-2.0 Lunch Break

2,30-4.00 Distributing PPE. Equipment is being given for the mechanical engineering and electrical student only. They are being given ‘Digi’ cloth because the cloth is in yellow colour. I’m not being given that cloth because I’m at the office. I’m so frustrated because I want to take picture with that cloth..hehe..

4.00-5.00 we are being sent to our respective department. Luckily I have friend from UiTM melaka in Finance division. One is from marketing student and two from finance student in UiTM Melaka. Here we are being introduces to the staff at Finance division. After that we enter the General Manager of Finance Departmet room. Our General Manager is Mr Rozaidin Zainon Hamzah. He is very nice person. He treats us like father and sons not the boss with subordinate. We introduce ourselves and from his words, he gives us higher expectation. He wants us to learn as much as possible during our practical training. He wants us to report directly to him. He himself will monitor our performances. I’m very shock because it is difficult in other organization that the General Manager himself will monitor our performances although I know as a General Manager he is very busy. That’s why he expects us to be very good. He also wants us to report directly to him if we have any problem and others. He always opens his door for us. O GOD, how lucky I am. I will try my best during practical training.

Practical Training- Day One: 1/12/2008 (Monday)

8.00-9.00 Fill up form; security, Leave & PPE form.

We are required to fill up the several of form like the above form. 25 practical training from UiTM Melaka, University Technology Petronas (UTP), University Malaysia Perlis, UTEM are being accepted as practical training at Petronas. Some of them are Bachelor degree International Business, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical, information technology, Finance, and some other programme. Most of the student practical training is from UTP.

9.00-10.0 We are being given Welcoming Remarks from Puan Salha Ahmad Dahlan, Manager, Capability Development Section, Human Resources Management & Administration. She told how lucky we because we are the chosen among hundred of application submit to her. Only 25 of them are being chosen. I’m so proud because being chosen to start my practical training here. She is a very family person and talk to us like we are family. She welcomes us as a family in Petronas. She gives so many lesson and advice to us during our practical training period.

10.00-10.15 Tea Breaks…

10.15-11.30 This time we are being given safety briefings by MR Mat Zam, from Healthy, Safety and Environment Division (HSE). He thought about many things regarding safety manner. Petronas are given highest priority for the safety because here there are many hazards from chemical in plant production. There are dress codes that every employee has to follow especially for the people in plant production. Mistakes are not allowed here because one mistake is effect the whole Petronas Refinery Melaka. Whatever we do we must take the safety as the most important element in Petronas. We also are being given the brief introduction about the equipment being used as safety matter. Also, we are being told what do’s and don’ts during work. We are being told not to enter restricted area without our senior. We have to obey all the rules at all the times.

11.30-1.0 Code of Conduct Discipline (COCD) presentation by MR Nordin M Yusof, one of the manager in Petronas. We are being told about the integrity, courage, discipline, honesty and many others thing. He is very nice person. If we don’t know him, we are hardly say that he is one of the manager in Petronas Refinery Melaka.

1.00-2.00 Lunch break with my new friends.

2.30-5.00 Plant overview by Mr. Rosaland Abd Wahab. He gives us the briefing about the plant operation in Petronas Refinery Melaka.

Selamat Hari Raya

Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri kepada semua yang mengenali aku..Kalau ada salah dan silap harap dapat dimaafkan....Best blk raya ni..semua abang2 n kakak balik beraya...Raya ke 3 nanti lagi best...ada mesyuarat keluarga..time tu ah dapat banyak duit raya..hehe..Apa2 pun Selamat Hari Raya...Maaf zahir dan batin..

Boring ah camni...Asyik xde kelas je..Malas ah nak wat kelas ganti...Spatutnya lect bgtau ah awal2 xde kelas...bleh ah aku tido...da la bln puasa..malas nak bangun pagi2...Da la selalu xde je kelas nego ni...tp yang bestnya...kelas nego ni kat lab..so bleh ah aku online...boleh update blog ni...Nnti aku nak baiki blog ni supaya lebih menarik...aku nak tambah gambar n video..Nntikan perubahannya..
